Nevada Business License
This guide covers Nevada's general business license requirements — state-level registration, local city and county licenses, fees, and renewal timelines.
Overview
Nevada requires virtually every business to obtain a State Business License from the Nevada Secretary of State. The annual fee is $200 for corporations and $200 for LLCs (with some variation by entity type).
In addition, Clark County (Las Vegas) and Washoe County (Reno) require separate county business licenses. Cities within those counties may require additional city licenses.
