Entity Formation API for Advisors and Platforms

The EntityEngine Entity Formation API allows advisors, legal platforms, corporate service providers, and software companies to integrate global entity formation directly into their own workflows and products. The API handles intake, document generation, KYC/AML workflow initiation, status tracking, and compliance management through a REST interface.

Who It Is For

  • Legal technology platforms embedding entity formation for their clients
  • Corporate service providers automating their intake and formation workflows
  • Fund administrators and advisors managing entity formation at scale
  • Accounting and law firms building client-facing formation products
  • Platforms requiring entity formation as part of a larger onboarding flow

Core API Capabilities

Authentication

The EntityEngine API uses API key authentication. Production API keys are available to verified platform partners. Sandbox keys are available for development and testing. All API calls require HTTPS. See the developer documentation for authentication details.

Pricing

API access pricing depends on usage volume and the jurisdictions and services consumed. Platform pricing is available on request. See EntityEngine pricing or request a demo to discuss API partnerships.

EntityEngine's Role

The EntityEngine API is a facilitation interface. Formation requests submitted via API are processed through the same licensed partner network as direct platform formation requests. EntityEngine is not a law firm, registered agent, or licensed fiduciary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a sandbox environment?

Yes. A sandbox API environment is available for development and testing. Sandbox formations do not trigger real filings or KYC reviews. Contact us to request sandbox access.

What jurisdictions are supported via API?

The API currently supports entity formation for Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Delaware. Additional jurisdictions are added on a rolling basis. See the developer documentation for the current supported jurisdiction list.

How are KYC documents handled via API?

KYC documents are submitted via secure, encrypted file upload endpoints. Documents are processed through EntityEngine's KYC/AML workflow and verified by licensed compliance partners. Documents are retained in accordance with EntityEngine's privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.

What webhook events are available?

Webhooks are sent for key formation milestones: formation initiation, KYC submission, KYC approval, filing submission, certificate of incorporation issued, and formation complete. Custom webhook endpoints can be configured per API key.

How do I get started?

Request access via the demo request form. API partnerships are reviewed and approved before production keys are issued. Sandbox access can be provided faster for development testing.
